Company Overview

Parto Tamas-e Novin (Parman) was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of Micromdje Industries (MI) by Dr. Mohammad Reza Pakravan, Professor of Electrical Engineering in Sharif University of Technology and with the participation of well-known university professors.
The main focus of the company is design and manufacture of optical transmission systems, following the huge amount of investments in fibre optic networks by Iranian government to enhance the country’s communication backbone.
Since then, Parman has grown to be a pioneer high-tech company in Electronics and Communications, with the contribution of its staff who are all top ranking graduates of prestigious universities in the field of telecommunication and electronics. Now, the company number of staff exceeds 40, and it has been awarded numerous contracts for design and production of optical transmission systems by public and private organizations.

Company Expertise

Through its years of existence, Parman has accumulated state of the art know-how in the field of design and manufacture of optical transmission systems, and its products have been tested repeatedly by and received quality approvals from “Telecommunications Infrastructure Company” (TIC), and also “Telecommunication Regulatory Organiza- tion”.
Another field of interest for Parman is Optical Network Planning. Using advanced planning softwares, Parman has successfully accomplished a project for the design of Iran’s backbone network according to 5-year needs forecast for “Iran Telecommunication Research Center – ITRC”. Parman has also carried out a project for analysis and review of “Iran Grid Management Company” (IGMC) optical fibre network.
The experienced R&D team of the company, which consists of top university graduates of Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran and other well-known technical universities, is currently working on the development of higher bit-rate optical systems.

Partnership with Pars Saman

Parman has been a long term partner and consultant to Pars Saman in various projects, in the phases of basic and detail design, procurement, installation and commissioning of Optical Transmission Systems and networks. Also, with gradual development of Parman’s products, Pars Saman is steadily becoming one of the main customers of these products. It is estimated that Parman will have an increasing role in future projects to be executed by Pars Saman in Iran’s Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry.
