Ericsson AB and Pars Telecom Systems Group (Parssaman) have formed a strategic partnership to promote Ericsson’s IoT and Cloud technology in Iran’s Oil and Gas industry. With a main focus on Smart Metering and Data Center solutions and services, the partnership will address projects in all subsidiaries of Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum, namely National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and National Iranian Oil Refinery and Distribution Company (NIORDC).
Ericsson’s advanced technology and global presence, together with Parssaman’s leading system integration expertise and market footprint create unprecedented synergies to offer technology solutions aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness. Early engagement to introduce the range of services to potential clients has already started, with several key projects targeted to start in 2016.
